1. Muse is an English alternative rock band that was formed in 1994. Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard are the band members. You’ll be impressed with Matt’s vocal range and obsessed with the intensity of the music.

2. Green Day is an American rock band formed in 1986. Mostly featuring rock, the band does dabble in punk music. The band started as a duo with Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt and had multiple band members since. This band is edgy and the songs are relatable.

3. Queen is a British rock band that was formed in London in 1970. Freddie Mercury is best known due to him being this bands lead singer. Though this is a well known group, many people only know their most popular songs. It’s disappointing that they are only known for a this because all of the songs are worthy of blasting in the car.

4. Yazoo, better known as Yaz, is a English synth-pop duo formed in 1981. Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet started the band after Moyet placed in ad in a British music magazine. They produced spunky and colorful music that tells a story. You can definitely bop your head to their music.

5. Wham! is a pop duo consisting of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. Formed in London in 1981, the duo continuously came up with hits. Many people may find this band a meme or a joke because it’s been made fun of in movies. However, they have timeless hits that you’ll be snapping and singing along to no matter where you are.

6. Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in 1970. The band is often referred to as “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band” and  the “Bad Boys from Boston”. Steven Tyler is most commonly associated with the band. With their many altercations to rock you’ll be having many feelings that will have you be listening to them with passion.

7. Weezer is an American rock band that formed in 1992. Rivers Cuomo named the band Weezer because that was his nickname in school given to him by kids who teased him for having asthma. I bet they regret that now. Now, they have been nicknamed “The Godfathers of Nerd Rock”. It’s clear that they’ve made an impact on music.

8. The Rolling Stones is an English rock band that formed in London in 1962. They are a well known and highly respected rock band. They have an amazing talent and play not only for an audience, but for themselves too. You’ll feel the music in your soul as you jam out to their incredible songs.

9. Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band that was formed in 1983. Though their music consists of rock, it comes with an emphasis of funk. They will always test boundaries and push the limits when it comes to their music. With countless hits, they always give what their fans want.

10. Cake is an American alternative rock band formed in 1991. They tell tales through their music. You’ll listen and feel as if you’re right there in the song with them. The visuals and emotions you have while listening will only leave you wanting more.
