During one of our very first journalism classes, Izzy Counselor, McKinley Decker, and Kaitlyn Moran, and I brought in the Crumbl cookies of the week, and rated each cookie. The cookies of that week were Confetti Cake, Caramel Shortbread ft. Twix, Peanut Butter ft. Snickers, Birthday Cake ft. Oreo, The Original Pink Sugar, and Milk Chocolate Chip.
We reviewed all six cookies, as well as purchased the full size Confetti Cake. If you have tried Crumbl, you know that the cookies are very rich and filling.
The first cookie we tried was Birthday Cake ft. Oreo. This cookie was personally one of my favorites out of the ones we tried, the chocolate cookie was very rich, and the frosting was creamy and sweet.
The next cookie was the Caramel Shortbread ft. Twix, unsurprisingly, this cookie tasted like an actual Twix candy bar, which I love, so I enjoyed this cookie very much.
The Original Pink Sugar cookie is a Crumbl staple, one that makes an often appearance in the weekly lineups. While this cookie is very well loved, they seemed to have changed the recipe, as it did not taste as delicious as usual, although still very good.
The Milk Chocolate Chip cookie is definitely not one of my favorites, it has an odd taste and I overall did not like it.
Since we got the full size Confetti Cake, we each tried a slice. Surprisingly, I really did not like this cake. It had an odd, chemically taste in the frosting, so I definitely rated this fairly low.
Last but not least, my favorite cookie of them all was the Peanut Butter ft. Snickers. Although Snickers candy bars are not my favorite, I do absolutely love peanut butter so I did enjoy this cookie very much. Overall, this week’s lineup was very delicious and very fun to review!
