Have you ever eaten so many cookies that you just can’t stop? Well, you definitely won’t be able to stop if they’re made by my mom. She has a home business called Baked In Victor.
She has been baking for her friends and family since she was younger but didn’t start her company until the summer of 2020.
“I’ve always loved baking,” she explained, “My old roommate in Colorado used to call me Betty Crocker when I baked cookies to send to my brothers in the military.”
She loves baking for my friends and family. For example, every time one of my friends comes over, she makes them a sweet treat “just because,” and she loves to have my friends taste test it to see if it’s okay to sell to the public.
My classmate and good friend Gavin Kazacos said, “Gwen’s mom’s cookies are the best in the 585.”
Although there isn’t a physical store, you can order everything online from @bakedinvictor on Facebook or Instagram and pick it up or have her drop it off.
You may have seen her cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc., at your friend’s birthday parties or any social event. You may have even eaten one! Most people don’t know my mother makes them.
At home, she has me try everything she makes; there’s always something sweet lying around in the kitchen.
For cheer, she would make cake pops or cookies and put them in bags for our competitions. Everyone would always ask me if my mom could make them a birthday cake or dessert.
If you are one of the few people at Victor who haven’t tried anything from Baked In Victor, I highly recommend ordering if you have any events coming up!
