Starting the week of April 7th late arrival and early dismissal will be ended for all seniors due to their poor grades and attendance throughout this school year. They have lost this privilege for all rising classes as well.
Late arrival provided many seniors with a relaxed morning by letting them come to school later and although it’s beneficial to some, other students took advantage of this and decided to not come to school for the rest of the day, resulting in the students of Victor being more lazy.
Early dismissal lets many seniors be free earlier in the day providing them with more free time, although lots of students think this is great, students don’t need this free time and could be using it in school learning, instead of scrolling on social media in your bed.
Although students may be upset about this change and as challenging as it can be, it’s just a reminder on how much closer summer break is getting!
As these days come to an end all seniors should take advantage of this as much as they can and enjoy their last few days sleeping in and leaving school early!
For all seniors upset by this just remember you were fine the other 3 years of high school!
Another topic not relating to many seniors and more for underclassmen, you will be re-enrolled in your worst class.
Whether it’s a core class or not, you chose to take the class and you will be expected to do as best as you can.
This may not be ideal for anyone, especially teachers, but students need to learn discipline and how to manage their time studyin
g instead of wasting their time with useless activities and scrolling on social media.
We have asked some teachers how they feel about this topic and the majority of them say they are excited that students are getting help , but upset their some of their annoying students will be back in their class.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of the last of their free time before we switch to the new routine. We are so excited to start our new lives here at Victor.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out.
