We have a few very important changes in regards to the over use and unrecognizable identities. Self tan will now be banned at the Victor Central School district. As this has continuously been an issue with the girls at this school, we truly believe that this will make for a happier and healthier community. Our students’ health and confidence is very important to us and to take a stand to this problem this has to be the best solution.

As more individuals get involved with tan it takes away from your natural beauty. We want to see the confidence of our school skyrocket without the fakeness and over use of discizing paleness. It is so incredibly important to feel secure in your own beauty and with these catfishing tools that makes it difficult. We have also noticed that the ability for students to focus has dropped immensely and we believe a strong reason for this is the bright tans that are incredibly distracting.

Although it is true that when you look your best you feel your best, it is also true that when you look fake you feel fake. Often these tans turn out the opposite from what you were hoping for so you must feel frightful. It has to take a toll on one’s mental health and impact how you feel internally. 

We have noticed that girls without the ability to afford self tan have became more and more insecure and left out. Evidently we don’t condone that and will have no choice but to ban in with the hopes that everyone will become a more secure version of themselves.
