Do you know who Mr Guido is? He’s been working here for 2 years now so you should. However Most students in the school don’t. But after reading this you will. I asked Mr Guido six popular questions to see what he had to say.
When it comes to helping around the school Mr Guido “gets to help after school” with students in the classroom in freshman connections and on the football and baseball field. Guido coaches baseball and assistant coaches on Varsity football.
Around the school Mr Guido is in and out of a lot of different classrooms, mostly English classes. He doesn’t have his own classroom, so he spends most of his time in Mr Kavanaugh’s Global 9 class.
When I asked him what it’s like to be in all these different classes everyday experiencing the different styles of teaching he said “each class has its own vibe”. And that he enjoys all of them in their own way.
What’s your favorite class? If Mr Guido could teach any class it would be politics/government. Guido spent his college years at upstate New York St Lawrence university and is an undergrad with a political science degree. He also is certified to teach special education.
When I asked Mr Guido who his favorite teachers are to work with at Victor highschool,he said “There’s a lot to choose from but my top three would probably be Mrs Schlueter, Mrs Avasatto and Mrs Sprague.”
Mr. Guido is a very active guy and he has some fun hobbies that he enjoys. These hobbies consist of fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He was born in the Adirondacks and he lived in New York City during his highschool years.
Now when you’re in the hallway you might see him going to another classroom. Or he could be helping out in your class. You might see him on the sideline of the football field or even in the dugout at the baseball field.
