After 25 years of teaching, Mrs. Knapp has been known around Victor High School for her overwhelming kindness and humorous math jokes. Mrs. Knapp not only teaches as an Algebra teacher, but she also teaches one section of Algebra support and three sections of AP Calculus BC. She also attended school here.
In High school, she spent her off time tutoring other students.” I love helping people learn stuff,” said Mrs.Knapp. During that time, she slowly discovered her love for teaching.
Early in Mrs. Knapp’s life, she discovered her love for learning, and subsequently developed a passion for teaching. What’s better than being able to do both for a job?
Mrs.Knapp said that Victor has been a great school since she attended, and now she is a teacher working here. She has always spoken highly of the teachers and continues to do so to this day. I found
Mrs. Knapp’s take interesting, as it highlights the significant changes the school has undergone since she attended Victor. She explained that Victor has way more courses that students can choose from than she did back then.
Yes, we have more courses, but when she attended school, her graduating class was around 175 to 200 kids. This way, everyone knew each other. Now, the normal size for a graduating class is 300. I definitely don’t know everyone in my class. Mrs. Knapp told me this is a downside of such a large school.
Though our school has many students with different personalities, it maintains a positive atmosphere. Mrs.Knapp has taught me that it is always good to be kind and that you should always be open to others’ ideas and opportunities. If you ever have any classes with Mrs.Kapp as your teacher, you will absolutely adore her.
