Stumbling upon the newly opened 7Brew in Canandaigua while driving around was by pure coincidence. Not only that, but I assumed the person standing in the parking lot waving around a sign that said ‘FREE DRINKS’ was being disingenuous. You can imagine my surprise when I drove up to the window and was actually able to order free small drinks. They had six free drinks available, which you could order as many of as you wanted (the person I was with and I went through the drive-thru twice and ordered six drinks between the two of us). I went back a few weeks later and bought a drink when the full menu was available and they were officially open for business. This is what I thought of the overall vibe of 7Brew and the drinks I’ve gotten there.
The overall atmosphere of 7Brew is super fun. It’s definetely aimed towards an audience under the age of 25, with loud music blasting and cars with ‘I Love 7Brew!’ written on their windows. Everyone working there seemed very enthusiastic about it. The parking lot was packed both times I went, so there were employees out in the road directing traffic.
The second time I went, it was raining, and the staff working were in what I can only describe as their own personal square tents. They looked like something straight out of Among Us, and because at the time I was driving with my father, I heard about the absurdity of it for far longer then I would’ve thought about it.
Similarly to Chick-Fil-A, an employee will come up to your car window and take your order on an iPad rather than driving up to a speaker to order. There isn’t really a menu displayed, which was fine because I had the menu pulled up on my phone, but I think that could be confusing for people, especially if it’s their first time going to 7Brew.
They were also pretty on top of all the cars in the drive-thru – I ordered a drink and got it when I was about halfway through the drive-thru. I didn’t mind sitting in the drive-thru with my drink and waiting for the cars ahead of me to go nearly as much as my parents did, which may drive away older people.

The drinks I got were all really good. I got coffee every time, but they also offer energy drinks and lemonades. I got a small Banana Bread, a small sugar-free Smooth 7, and a large Brunette. The Banana Bread one was definetely my favorite. The Brunette and Banana Bread were almost the same drink, but with or without banana flavoring. All of the drinks are very sweet, which I loved but some people may not like. I’m sure there are 75 million grams of sugar in all of these drinks as well.
Overall, the expereince at 7Brew was really good, I plan on going back and I think the new popularity will not die down anytime soon.
