Walking into Yotality for the first time feels like you’ve landed on the board game of candy land. The colorful walls and fun seating stands out like a sore thumb. On main street in Pittsford located on the corner of the block you are ensured to be welcomed by the sweet staff as you walk into the doors. In the summer, outdoor seating is a great option but even in the colder months of the year the indoor tables work perfectly. There’s even high-top chairs that look out a huge window.
The open floor plan allows for your eyes to be dragged right over to the frozen yogurt itself. You have the option between two different cup sizes, 16oz as the standard size and 24 oz. Once you grab your cup you then can pick from what feels like unlimited amounts of flavors to fill it. The dispensers that contain the yogurt are attached to the walls and you pull down a lever to release the frozen yogurt inside. You have over 15 choices of flavors to choose ranging from vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango, to more fun flavors like cookies and cream, cookie dough, and birthday cake and even gluten free options that have monthly changing fruit flavors. You may fill your cup to however much you desire. Being able to self-serve yourself and have control over your sweet treat from the large variety of rotating flavors and toppings, makes this place stand out on its own. After filling up your cup you can head over to the tables with a whole variety of toppings. They have plenty of options like fruit, chocolates, brownie bites, sour candies, gummies and more. They also have a section with syrups that you can add at the end near the checkout to top your ice cream. With the vace variety of options you automatically fill your ccup up quickly which has it spositives and negatives.
Balancing my favorite treats all in one cup, I started off with a cookies and cream base, and added cookie dough pieces with graham cracker crumbs and fruity pebbles. I got the chocolate and sweetness of flavors all in one and even the ability to customize how much I wanted of each topping.
Prices are based on the weight (ounces) of each cup and what’s inside so when you finish customizing your cup you can head over to the cashier and place yours or your groups cups on the weigher. I noticed how pricey it becomes, for my cup it was almost 9 dollars! I do find that this sweet treat is expensive especially if you are buying a group but the taste is like no other and works great for a once in a while special dessert.
If you get the chance to definitely go check out Yotality in Pittsford. I know it’s definitely a place I will be returning back to and enjoying again.
