With its delicious breakfast options to its wide range of lunch selections, you could never go wrong with going to the Village Bakery and Cafe.

Starting off as one small business fourteen years ago now has branched off into three new shops across the Rochester area. The popularity started to grow as soon as it first opened. People were astonished with a wide variety of goods to choose from including their selection of food allergy safe options. Although they are known for their sweet treats and savory goods, they are also known for their strong history of good customer service. As seen from the online reviews and ratings of 4.5 out of 5, it has happy and valuable customers.

The  experience at the Village Bakery was nothing short of amazing. As soon as you step inside you are warmed with welcomes and an inviting atmosphere. With two stories of sitting area next to windows or up on the loft it makes a comfortable area for studying or just a relaxing coffee while reading a book. All the workers have smiling faces and are excited to serve their customers.

If you are a first time visitor, be prepared for the overwhelming food selections that you could choose from including the dozens of toppings. It ranges anywhere from an avocado toast, to a loaded turkey sandwich, or even as simple as a grilled cheese.

For me personally, I like things as simple as it gets so I ordered the basic grilled cheese sandwich. Four different cheeses all melted together on fresh slices of bread served with a side of chips. It was the perfect afternoon lunch after a day of school. With my food I ordered a matcha latte with soy milk.

Matcha is a hard drink to make especially with the overpowering flavor of greens but the Village Bakery was spot on with making the perfect matcha latte. They took out the bitterness of the greens while also adding the sweet taste of vanilla that makes you want to go back and order another one.

After the amazing lunch: looking into the glass of the baked treats; of course you have to try one. The options are endless, you can choose anything from a soft baked cookie bigger than a small dinner plate or even a small macaron. After the large lunch that was devoured, the best option was to grab a small macaron. It has the perfect in between textures from crunchy outside to the smooth fluffy vanilla inside.

As soon as you walk through the door and soon as you walk out there is no disappointment. The overall environment of the bakery and the happy vibe throughout is enough to make you go back and back again. With their wide selections of food ranging from breakfast, lunch, and dessert, to their collection of different hot and cold beverages that could be made. If you want a nice relaxing lunch or even a place to go study and sip on coffee the Village Bakery and Cafe is the place for you.
